โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพระบบคลังข้อมูลภาพถ่ายจากดาวเทียม (Data Storage) และระบบประมวลผลข้อมูล (Computing Resource) ของสำนักงานพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีอวกาศและภูมิสารสนเทศ (สทอภ.) ภายใต้ศูนย์ข้อมูลอวกาศแห่งชาติ (National Space Data Center) รวมถึงการปรับปรุงคลังข้อมูลดาวเทียมสำรองเพื่อรองรับการขยายตัวของข้อมูลดาวเทียมในอนาคต ขอบเขตงานครอบคลุมถึงการจัดหาวัสดุอุปกรณ์เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์แม่ข่าย, การจัดหาเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์แม่ข่ายสำหรับการประมวลผลหลัก, จัดหาอุปกรณ์กระจายสัญญาณ (L3 Switch), จัดหาหน่วยจัดเก็บข้อมูลสำรอง (Cold Spare), และจัดหาอุปกรณ์จัดเก็บข้อมูลเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพระบบคลังข้อมูลสำรอง รวมถึงสื่อบันทึกข้อมูลแบบม้วนเทปชนิด LTO 8 นอกจากนี้ ยังรวมถึงการติดตั้ง, เชื่อมต่อ, ทดสอบระบบ, และฝึกอบรมให้กับเจ้าหน้าที่ สทอภ. โครงการนี้จะช่วยให้ สทอภ. สามารถจัดเก็บ, ประมวลผล, และให้บริการข้อมูลภาพถ่ายดาวเทียมได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น รองรับการเติบโตของเศรษฐกิจอวกาศ และการใช้งานข้อมูลดาวเทียมที่เพิ่มขึ้น

This project aims to enhance the efficiency of the satellite imagery data storage and computing resource systems of the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) under the National Space Data Center. It also includes upgrading the backup satellite data storage to accommodate future data expansion. The scope of work encompasses procuring materials and equipment to improve server performance, acquiring main processing servers, procuring L3 switches, procuring cold spare storage units, and procuring storage equipment to enhance the backup data storage system, including LTO 8 tape media. Furthermore, it includes installation, connection, system testing, and training for GISTDA personnel. This project will enable GISTDA to store, process, and provide satellite imagery data more efficiently, supporting the growth of the space economy and increasing satellite data usage.
