องค์การพิพิธภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ (อพวช.) จัดทำโครงการพัฒนาชุดนิทรรศการเสมือนจริง (Virtual Reality Exhibition System) เพื่อยกระดับการเรียนรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ผ่านประสบการณ์เสมือนจริงแบบโต้ตอบได้ ณ พื้นที่เทคโนธานี อำเภอคลองหลวง จังหวัดปทุมธานี วัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อส่งเสริมให้เด็ก เยาวชน และประชาชนสนใจวิทยาศาสตร์มากขึ้นผ่านโลกเสมือนจริง (Virtual Reality) และจัดสร้างการท่องเที่ยวเสมือนที่รองรับการพัฒนาสู่ระบบ Metaverse ในอนาคต
ขอบเขตงานหลักประกอบด้วยการออกแบบและพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศ “พิพิธภัณฑ์เสมือนอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในรูปแบบดิจิทัลเมตาทัวร์ (Meta-Tour)” โดยเน้นการแสดงผล 3D บนแว่นตา VR Standalone, การสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมและตัวละครที่เคลื่อนไหวได้อย่างสมจริงด้วยเทคโนโลยี 6DoF และ 360° View, และการออกแบบกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิสัมพันธ์ (Interactive Scenario) 3 หมวดเนื้อหา ได้แก่ ธรรมชาติวิทยา วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี และเกมแอดเวนเจอร์ ระบบต้องรองรับการใช้งานหลายผู้เล่นพร้อมกันไม่น้อยกว่า 10 คนต่อ Session พร้อมระบบควบคุมและบริหารจัดการ (Admin Console) ที่ครบครัน
งานยังครอบคลุมการจัดหา อุปกรณ์ฮาร์ดแวร์ครบชุด ได้แก่ แว่นตา VR Headset จำนวน 60 ชุด, เซิร์ฟเวอร์/เวิร์กสเตชัน 3 เครื่อง, จอแสดงผล 90 นิ้ว 3 เครื่อง, ระบบเครือข่าย Wi-Fi Router 6 เครื่อง และอุปกรณ์สนับสนุนอื่นๆ เช่น UPS, ตู้ Rack การติดตั้งระบบ ณ สถานที่จริง การจัดเตรียมฉากกั้นห้อง การจัดฝึกอบรมผู้ใช้งานและผู้ดูแลระบบ การจัดทำคู่มือ และการผลิตสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ โครงการมีระยะเวลาดำเนินงานทั้งสิ้น 270 วัน นับจากวันลงนามในสัญญา
The National Science Museum (NSM) of Thailand is undertaking a project to develop a Virtual Reality (VR) Exhibition System to enhance science, technology, and innovation learning through immersive, interactive experiences. The project will be implemented at Technopolis in Pathum Thani Province.
The core objective is to promote interest in science among children, youth, and the general public via virtual reality and to create a virtual tourism platform that supports future development towards a Metaverse system. The main scope of work involves the design and development of an electronic virtual museum system in a “Digital Meta-Tour” format. This includes creating a 3D VR environment with realistic characters and objects supporting 6DoF and 360° view, developing interactive educational content across three categories (Natural Science, Science & Technology, and Adventure Game), and implementing a multi-user system supporting at least 10 concurrent users per session with a comprehensive administration dashboard.
The project also encompasses the procurement of a full suite of hardware, including 60 units of standalone VR headsets, 3 server/workstations, 3 units of 90-inch displays, 6 Wi-Fi routers, and supporting equipment like UPS and storage racks. Additional responsibilities include on-site system installation, setting up exhibition spaces (including partitions and theming), conducting end-user and administrator training, creating user manuals, and producing public relations materials. The total project duration is 270 days from the contract signing date.
