กรมคุ้มครองสิทธิและเสรีภาพ (กคส.) เปิดโครงการจัดหา “ระบบเฝ้าระวังเพื่อเสริมประสิทธิภาพการคุ้มครองพยาน” โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อสนับสนุนภารกิจในการคุ้มครองและเฝ้าระวังภัยคุกคามที่อาจเกิดขึ้นกับพยานตามกฎหมายคุ้มครองพยาน โดยปัจจุบันหน่วยงานยังขาดอุปกรณ์และระบบที่ครบถ้วนสำหรับการดำเนินงานนี้ โครงการจึงเน้นการจัดหาอุปกรณ์ฮาร์ดแวร์และพัฒนาระบบซอฟต์แวร์ เพื่อให้กรมฯ มีเครื่องมือในการบริหารจัดการการเฝ้าระวัง กำหนดแนวทางคุ้มครอง และกำกับดูแลการทำงานของพนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ทั่วประเทศได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นต้องสามารถเชื่อมต่อและทำงานร่วมกับระบบสารสนเทศอื่นๆ ของกรมฯ ได้อย่างครบถ้วนและถูกต้อง เพื่อให้การคุ้มครองพยานเป็นไปอย่างทั่วถึงและเท่าเทียม
The Department of Rights and Liberties Protection (DRLP) is launching a project to procure a “Surveillance System to Enhance Witness Protection Efficiency.” The project aims to support the department’s mission in protecting and monitoring threats to witnesses under the Witness Protection in Criminal Cases Act B.E. 2546 (2003). Currently, the department lacks comprehensive equipment and systems for this operation. Therefore, the project focuses on procuring hardware and developing software systems to enable the DRLP to effectively manage surveillance activities, establish protection guidelines, and oversee the work of officers nationwide. The developed system must be able to integrate and operate seamlessly with the department’s other information systems to ensure comprehensive and equitable witness protection.
