The Royal Irrigation Department (RID) is inviting bids for the “Improvement and Maintenance of the Smart Water Operation Center (Big Data) Database Development Project, Water Situation Analysis and Processing Section” located in Dusit District, Bangkok.

The primary objective is to maintain and enhance the Smart Water Operation Center’s Big Data system to ensure its efficiency, data currency, and continuous operation. This system is crucial for supporting decision-making in water management during both flood and drought crises.

Key scopes of work include:

1. Hardware and Software Maintenance: Servicing, repairing, and providing temporary spare parts for servers, UPS units, display switches, and NAS storage systems, along with regular data backup procedures.
2. Website Improvement and Maintenance: Enhancing the website to display Big Data reports on meteorology, hydrology, and water management. This includes features for water level and flow rate forecasting, comparative data analysis with graphical outputs (bar, line, pie charts), and displaying water management data for 22 major river basins.
3. Database Development and Enhancement: Integrating new data sources, such as irrigation structure data (weirs, sluice gates), and supporting data import from Excel/CSV files.
4. Security and Modernization Development: Upgrading the Smart Water Operation Center (SWOC) website to be modern, fast, efficient, and have robust cybersecurity.

The contractor is required to submit monthly progress reports throughout the contract period. The project has a total budget of 3,000,000 THB and a duration of 330 days, with work delivery and payment divided into 4 installments.
