โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเทิดพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระสังฆราชเจ้า กรมหลวงวชิรญาณสังวร “รอยทาง เจริญธรรม” โดยการจ้างเหมาจัดงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับนโยบายรัฐบาลในการขับเคลื่อนยุทธศาสตร์ชาติ ๒๐ ปี ด้านการสร้างความสามารถในการแข่งขัน โดยมุ่งเน้นการสร้างความหลากหลายด้านการท่องเที่ยว ส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสร้างสรรค์และวัฒนธรรม และผลักดันการนํา Soft Power มาใช้ในการพัฒนาศิลปะ วัฒนธรรม และภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น

โครงการนี้จะจัดขึ้นที่จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี ซึ่งเป็นบ้านเกิดของสมเด็จพระสังฆราชฯ และมีวัดเทวสังฆาราม ซึ่งเป็นวัดที่พระองค์ทรงบรรพชาอุปสมบทและประดิษฐานพระอัฐิ เป็นสถานที่สำคัญ กิจกรรมในงานจะประกอบด้วย นิทรรศการ การแสดง การบรรยาย และกิจกรรมอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อเผยแพร่พระเกียรติคุณของสมเด็จพระสังฆราชฯ และส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมของจังหวัดกาญจนบุรี การจัดงานครั้งนี้จะช่วยสร้างรายได้ให้กับประชาชนในท้องถิ่นและพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของชุมชน

เป้าหมายหลักของโครงการคือการทำให้ประเทศไทยเป็นจุดหมายปลายทางการท่องเที่ยววิถีพุทธของโลก และส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนนำหลักธรรมคำสอนของพระพุทธศาสนามาใช้ในการดำเนินชีวิต

This project aims to honor Somdet Phra Sangharaja Chao Krommaluang Vajirañāṇasaṃvara through the contracting of related events. It aligns with the government’s policy to drive the 20-year national strategy in enhancing the country’s competitiveness by focusing on diversifying tourism, promoting creative and cultural tourism, and leveraging Soft Power to develop arts, culture, and local wisdom.

The project will be held in Kanchanaburi Province, the birthplace of Somdet Phra Sangharaja, with Wat Thewasangharam, where he was ordained and his relics are enshrined, serving as a significant location. Activities will include exhibitions, performances, lectures, and other related events to disseminate the virtues of Somdet Phra Sangharaja and promote cultural tourism in Kanchanaburi Province. This event will contribute to generating income for local people and improving the quality of life for the community.

The main goal of the project is to make Thailand a global destination for Buddhist tourism and to encourage people to apply the teachings of Buddhism in their lives.
