โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลงานวิชาการสำหรับสำนักงานราชบัณฑิตยสภาในรูปแบบเว็บแอปพลิเคชัน (web application) ที่มีประสิทธิภาพและเข้าถึงได้ง่าย ระบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นจะต้องสามารถทำงานบนเว็บเบราว์เซอร์มาตรฐานทั่วไปที่รองรับ HTML5, CSS3, และ JavaScript เช่น Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox และ Safari ได้เป็นอย่างน้อย และต้องออกแบบให้รองรับการแสดงผลที่ปรับเปลี่ยนตามขนาดหน้าจอ (responsive design) เพื่อให้ใช้งานได้สะดวกทั้งบนคอมพิวเตอร์ส่วนบุคคล สมาร์ทโฟน และแท็บเล็ต
ขอบเขตงานหลักประกอบด้วยการพัฒนาระบบฐานข้อมูลที่มีความสามารถในการสืบค้นข้อมูลแบบข้อความเต็ม (full-text search) ทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ ผู้ใช้สามารถเลือกสืบค้นข้อมูลจากงานวิชาการประเภทใดประเภทหนึ่ง หรือจากส่วนต่างๆ ของงานวิชาการได้ เช่น ค้นหาจากคำศัพท์, ศัพท์บัญญัติ, คำอธิบาย, คำทับศัพท์ หรือจะสืบค้นจากงานวิชาการทั้งหมดก็ได้ ระบบต้องสามารถแสดงผลการค้นหาเป็นรายการ พร้อมรายละเอียดเบื้องต้นที่ผู้ใช้สามารถคลิกเพื่อเข้าดูรายละเอียดของแต่ละรายการได้ นอกจากนี้ ระบบยังต้องมีฟังก์ชันการจัดการข้อมูล (CRUD operations) สำหรับผู้ดูแลระบบ รวมถึงฟังก์ชันการเพิ่มข้อมูลแบบทีละหลายรายการ (batch upload) เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกในการบริหารจัดการเนื้อหาอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
This project aims to develop an academic works database system for the Office of the Royal Society in the form of a web application. The system must be compatible with standard web browsers supporting HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (e.g., Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari) and must feature responsive design for optimal display on personal computers, smartphones, and tablets.
The core scope of work involves developing a database system with full-text search capabilities in both Thai and English. Users should be able to search within specific types of academic works or specific parts of them, such as terms, coined terms, definitions, transliterated words, or across all academic works. The system must display search results as a list with basic details, allowing users to click for more information on each item. Additionally, the system must include data management functions (CRUD operations) for administrators and support batch uploading of data for efficient content management.
