โครงการแข่งขันพัทยามาราธอน ประจำปี 2564 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬาของเมืองพัทยา, ส่งเสริมการออกกำลังกายและสุขภาพพลานามัยของประชาชน, ยกระดับการจัดการแข่งขันให้เป็นระดับนานาชาติ, เพิ่มรายได้และกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจ, และสนับสนุนการเป็นเมืองกีฬา (Sports City) ของจังหวัดชลบุรี
ขอบเขตงานครอบคลุมการจัดการแข่งขัน 5 ประเภท ได้แก่ มาราธอน (42.195 กม.), ฮาล์ฟมาราธอน (21.10 กม.), มินิมาราธอน (10 กม.), แฟมิลี่รัน (5 กม.) และวีลแชร์ (5 กม.) ผู้รับจ้างต้องดำเนินการจัดงานแถลงข่าว, จัดการประชุมเตรียมความพร้อม, ประชาสัมพันธ์ผ่านสื่อต่างๆ, จัดกิจกรรมบนเวที, จัดทำของที่ระลึก (กระเป๋า, เสื้อ Finisher, เสื้อวิ่ง), ตกแต่งสถานที่, จัดสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก, ดูแลด้านการแข่งขันและเทคนิค (ระบบจับเวลา, ประกันอุบัติเหตุ, จุดบริการน้ำดื่ม), และดูแลการต้อนรับนักกีฬา (อาหาร, ผลไม้)
นอกจากนี้ ผู้รับจ้างต้องจัดทำถ้วยรางวัล, เหรียญที่ระลึก, และจัดการเรื่องการสมัครลงทะเบียนแข่งขัน โดยจะต้องนำเงินรายได้จากค่าสมัครส่งมอบให้เมืองพัทยา
The Pattaya Marathon 2024 project aims to promote sports tourism in Pattaya, encourage exercise and public health, upgrade the event to international standards, increase revenue and stimulate the economy, and support Chonburi’s status as a Sports City.
The scope of work covers the management of 5 race categories: Marathon (42.195 km), Half Marathon (21.10 km), Mini Marathon (10 km), Family Run (5 km), and Wheelchair Race (5 km). The contractor is responsible for organizing a press conference, preparation meetings, promotion through various media channels, stage activities, souvenirs (bags, Finisher shirts, running shirts), venue decoration, facility arrangement, competition and technical aspects (timing system, accident insurance, drinking water stations), and athlete hospitality (food, fruit).
In addition, the contractor must provide trophies, commemorative medals, and manage race registration, with registration fee revenue to be handed over to Pattaya City.
