The electrosurgical unit must be a radiofrequency system with at least 2 frequencies, both monopolar and bipolar. It must be able to maintain a constant energy level during electrosurgery and cutting, and have at least 4 operating modes: Tissue Cutting (Cut), Blended Cutting and Coagulation (Blend), Coagulation (Coag), and Bipolar Coagulation. It includes accessories such as a Foot Controlled handpiece, Fingerswitch Handpiece, Dual Frequency Footswitch, and various sized electrodes.
The smoke evacuator must have at least 3 suction hose ports, a suction level control button, and a filter life indicator. It must be able to filter germs with at least 99% efficiency and have at least 4 filtration stages. It can be controlled with a footswitch.
