This project concerns the Thai Industrial Standard for Ready-Mixed Concrete. It defines the scope, definitions, types, categories, quality classes, materials, storage, proportioning, concrete mixing plants, mixing, transportation, required characteristics, marking and labeling, sampling and acceptance criteria, and testing of ready-mixed concrete. The scope of this standard covers ready-mixed concrete mixed at a plant or by a truck mixer and delivered to the construction site. It does not cover the placement, curing, compaction, and finishing of concrete. This standard requires that ready-mixed concrete be uniform, have compressive strength according to the specified quality class, and use standardized materials. Methods for testing uniformity and compressive strength are clearly defined. The manufacturer is responsible for inspecting raw materials, controlling the slump, and delivering concrete according to the specifications.
