โครงการพัฒนาเส้นทางเพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางประวัติศาสตร์ กิจกรรมยกระดับมาตรฐานและเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพทางหลวงนี้ มุ่งเน้นการปรับปรุงทางหลวงหมายเลข 228 ตอน ชุมแพ – ห้วยสายหนัง ในช่วง กม. 5+000.000 ถึง กม. 6+000.000 (ระยะทาง 1 กิโลเมตร) วัตถุประสงค์หลักคือการยกระดับมาตรฐานทางหลวงให้มีความปลอดภัยและสะดวกสบายในการเดินทางมากยิ่งขึ้น เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่ โครงการนี้ครอบคลุมงานหลายส่วน ได้แก่ งานรื้อถอนสิ่งก่อสร้างเดิม งานขุดดินและถมดิน งานก่อสร้างระบบระบายน้ำ (ท่อระบายน้ำ) งานก่อสร้างเกาะกลางถนนและงานติดตั้งไฟฟ้าส่องสว่างบนทางหลวง รวมถึงงานปรับปรุงผิวจราจรให้ได้มาตรฐานตามที่กำหนดไว้ในแบบรูปรายการก่อสร้างและข้อกำหนดของกรมทางหลวง

This project aims to improve the standard and efficiency of Highway No. 228, Chum Phae - Huai Sai Nang section, from Km 5+000.000 to Km 6+000.000 (1 km). The main objective is to upgrade the highway to enhance safety and convenience for travel, thereby promoting tourism in the area. The project encompasses several tasks, including demolition of existing structures, earthworks, construction of drainage systems (culverts), construction of road medians, and installation of highway lighting. It also includes the improvement of the road surface to meet the standards specified in the construction drawings and the requirements of the Department of Highways.
