This project is part of the Department of Rural Roads’ integrated development plan for transportation and logistics. The main objective is to improve the community area on road number ภก.4055 (connecting Highway 4029 to Phra Metta Road) in Kathu District, Phuket Province. The scope of work includes sidewalk improvements, installation of new LED lighting systems, installation of push-button pedestrian crossing signals, installation of CCTV cameras, and other related landscaping improvements. The project starts at km 0+900 and ends at km 2+900, with a total distance of approximately 2 kilometers. Major tasks include curb construction, stamped concrete sidewalk construction (pattern and color to be specified later), LED streetlight installation, underground electrical wiring, and installation of a new grounding system. In addition, the existing traffic signal system will be improved, including the installation of two new push-button pedestrian crossings and two new CCTV camera locations to enhance safety in the area. The contractor must comply with the Department of Rural Roads’ construction standards, prepare a work plan, and install warning signs and traffic control devices during construction.
