This project involves the procurement of one set of a small-scale spray dryer for herbal extracts, along with associated equipment, by the Department of Science Service through an e-bidding process. The set includes a spray dryer, an herbal extraction tank, and other accessories. The spray dryer must have a stainless steel structure, an evaporating capacity of at least 1.5 L/h, and a maximum sample feed rate of at least 2000 ml/h. The herbal extraction tank must have a capacity of at least 10 L and be capable of both water and alcohol extraction. Other accessories include a spare nozzle, spare parts for the sample receiving section, silicone tubing, air filters, cleaning solution, and a temperature-controlled cabinet. Bidders must provide documentation proving they are authorized distributors, and the equipment must meet CE Mark or other relevant standards. A 2-year warranty is required, along with training on operation and maintenance.
