This project involves the procurement of an automated weight calibration system, including one set of equipment, for the Department of Science Service. The main objective is to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of weight calibration. The system consists of an automatic weight calibration unit, a control and processing unit, and other related equipment. The automatic calibration unit includes a base with an enclosure, a weight placement unit, a 3-axis drive system (X, Y, Z), a gripper, and a programmable logic controller (PLC). The control unit consists of a notebook computer with control software, an operating system, and office software. Other components include an environmental monitoring device (temperature, humidity, pressure) and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Bidders must submit documents, prepare the installation site, install the system, provide training, and provide manuals. The entire system must be new, standardized, guaranteed, and compatible with 220-240V electricity.
