โครงการนี้เป็นการยางแห่งประเทศไทย กองจัดการสวนยาง ๑ จัดจ้างทำแนวป้องกันต้นยางในโครงการปลูกสร้างสวนยางพันธุ์ดี เนื้อที่ 1,360.40 ไร่ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อป้องกันต้นยางจากโรคที่แพร่กระจายทางดินและการเข้าทำลายของสัตว์ รวมถึงเพื่อให้การใช้จ่ายงบประมาณเป็นไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ขอบเขตงานประกอบด้วยการขุดร่องด้วยเครื่องจักร ความกว้างปากร่อง 2.5 เมตร, ท้องร่อง 1.0 เมตร, ลึก 2.0 เมตร และยาว 5,920 เมตร ดินที่ขุดขึ้นมาจะถูกปรับแต่งเป็นคันดิน งานนี้แบ่งออกเป็น 2 งวดงาน แต่ละงวดมีระยะเวลาดำเนินการ โดยรวมโครงการมีระยะเวลารวม 60 วัน
