โครงการก่อสร้างถนนสาย ง๓ ผังเมืองรวมเมืองหนองคาย จังหวัดหนองคาย เป็นโครงการภายใต้ความรับผิดชอบของกรมทางหลวงชนบท กระทรวงคมนาคม โดยมีบริษัท กรุงเทพเอ็นยิเนียริ่งคอนซัลแตนท์ จำกัด เป็นผู้ดำเนินการออกแบบ โครงการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อพัฒนาโครงข่ายถนนในเขตผังเมืองรวมเมืองหนองคายให้มีประสิทธิภาพ รองรับการขยายตัวของเมืองและการจราจรที่เพิ่มขึ้นในอนาคต

ขอบเขตงานของโครงการครอบคลุมการก่อสร้างถนนคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็ก ความกว้างเขตทาง variable ตั้งแต่ 30.00 - 60.00 เมตร พร้อมทางเท้า, ไหล่ทาง, ระบบระบายน้ำ, ไฟฟ้าส่องสว่าง, ป้ายจราจร, และเครื่องหมายจราจร รวมถึงงานอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องตามแบบมาตรฐานของกรมทางหลวงชนบท

จุดเริ่มต้นโครงการอยู่ที่ กม.0+000.000 ตัดกับทางหลวงแผ่นดินหมายเลข 233 (หนองคาย-อุดร) และสิ้นสุดที่ กม.2+811.000 เชื่อมกับทางหลวงแผ่นดินหมายเลข 243 (หนองคาย-สะพานมิตรภาพไทยลาว) ลักษณะเด่นของโครงการคือ มีการก่อสร้างสะพานต่างระดับ (Interchange) เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการจราจรบริเวณจุดตัด

โครงการนี้จะช่วยเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการรองรับปริมาณการจราจร ลดปัญหาการจราจรติดขัด และอำนวยความสะดวกในการเดินทางและการขนส่งในพื้นที่จังหวัดหนองคายและบริเวณใกล้เคียง รวมถึงการเชื่อมต่อไปยังประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน

The Ng3 Road Construction Project, Nong Khai City Plan, Nong Khai Province, is a project under the responsibility of the Department of Rural Roads, Ministry of Transport, with Bangkok Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd. as the designer. The main objective of this project is to develop the road network in the Nong Khai city plan area to be efficient, supporting urban expansion and increasing traffic in the future.

The scope of work for the project covers the construction of a reinforced concrete road with a right-of-way width ranging from 30.00 to 60.00 meters, complete with sidewalks, shoulders, drainage system, lighting, traffic signs, and road markings, including other related works according to the Department of Rural Roads’ standards.

The project starts at km 0+000.000, intersecting with Highway 233 (Nong Khai-Udon), and ends at km 2+811.000, connecting with Highway 243 (Nong Khai-Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge). A notable feature of the project is the construction of an interchange to improve traffic flow at the intersection.

This project will enhance the capacity to accommodate traffic volume, reduce traffic congestion, and facilitate travel and transportation in Nong Khai province and nearby areas, including connections to neighboring countries.
