ตัวหลอดเลือดเทียมทำจากวัสดุโพลีเอสเตอร์ทอทึบ (full-thickness woven Polyester) และมีขดลวดที่ทำจากไนตินอล (Nitinol) แบบขยายเองได้ (Self-Expandable) เย็บติดกับผนังหลอดเลือดเทียม ขดลวดนี้จะช่วยค้ำยันและยึดติดกับผนังหลอดเลือด ทำให้หลอดเลือดเทียมยึดติดได้ทนทาน
