คุณสมบัติทางเทคนิคที่สำคัญ ได้แก่ มุมมองภาพไม่น้อยกว่า 140 องศา, ส่วนปลายกล้องมีขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางไม่เกิน 12.6 มม., ความยาวใช้งานไม่น้อยกว่า 1030 มม., สามารถปรับมุมได้ 4 ทิศทาง, มีปุ่มควบคุมการทำงานไม่น้อยกว่า 4 ปุ่ม, ให้ภาพคมชัด และรองรับการตรวจหามะเร็งเบื้องต้นด้วยแสง NBI หรือเทียบเท่า
