โครงการนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมยกระดับมาตรฐานทางเพื่อสนับสนุนโครงการพระราชดำริและโครงการหลวง ดำเนินการโดยกรมทางหลวงชนบท กระทรวงคมนาคม โครงการตั้งอยู่ที่ถนนสาย นศ.4088 แยกทางหลวงหมายเลข 4105 บ้านห้วยแก้ว อำเภอสิชล จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช มีระยะทางรวม 2.500 กิโลเมตร เริ่มต้นที่ กม. 8+000.000 และสิ้นสุดที่ กม. 10+500.000

งานหลักประกอบด้วยการก่อสร้างถนนผิวจราจรแบบแอสฟัลต์ติกคอนกรีต (AC) , APPROACH SLAB, และการก่อสร้างสะพาน คสล. จำนวน 3 แห่ง, รวมถึงการติดตั้ง GUARD RAIL, RUMBLE STRIPS, ป้ายจราจร, และหลักนำโค้ง, ท่อระบายน้ำ, รางระบายน้ำ มีการปรับปรุงผิวจราจรเดิมและก่อสร้างใหม่ให้มีความกว้าง 6.00 เมตร และบางช่วงกว้าง 9.00 เมตร และ 10.00 เมตรสำหรับ APPROACH SLAB. โครงสร้างถนนประกอบด้วยชั้นวัสดุต่างๆ ได้แก่ ผิวจราจร AC, PRIME COAT, วัสดุชั้นพื้นทาง, วัสดุชั้นรองพื้นทาง, และดินถมคันทาง โดยมีการบดอัดแน่นตามมาตรฐานที่กำหนด. การก่อสร้างทั้งหมดจะต้องเป็นไปตามมาตรฐานงานก่อสร้างของกรมทางหลวงชนบท (มทช.)

This project is part of the activities to upgrade road standards to support Royal Initiative Projects and Royal Projects, carried out by the Department of Rural Roads, Ministry of Transport. The project is located on Road No. NS.4088, branching from Highway No. 4105, Ban Huai Kaeo, Sichon District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, with a total length of 2.500 kilometers. It starts at km 8+000.000 and ends at km 10+500.000.

The main tasks include the construction of asphaltic concrete (AC) pavement, approach slabs, and the construction of 3 reinforced concrete bridges. This also involves installing guard rails, rumble strips, traffic signs, guideposts, culverts and drainage channels. The existing pavement will be improved and new construction will have a width of 6.00 meters, and in some sections, 9.00 meters and 10.00 meteres for APPROACH SLAB. The road structure consists of various material layers, including AC pavement, prime coat, base course material, subbase course material, and embankment soil, with compaction according to specified standards. All construction must comply with the construction standards of the Department of Rural Roads (DRR).
