แบบมาตรฐานงานทางนี้ (สพ.2011) จัดทำขึ้นโดยกรมทางหลวงชนบท กระทรวงคมนาคม เพื่อเป็นแนวทางสำหรับองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น (อปท.) ในการก่อสร้างและปรับปรุงถนน โดยเน้นโครงสร้างถนนที่มั่นคง, ทนทาน, และได้มาตรฐาน. เอกสารนี้ครอบคลุมรายละเอียดต่างๆ ตั้งแต่รูปตัดแสดงโครงสร้างถนน (ทั้งดินตัดและดินถม), คุณสมบัติวัสดุ, การบดอัด, การลาดชัน (Back Slope และ Side Slope), ไปจนถึงการเลือกใช้วัสดุชั้นโครงสร้างทาง (เช่น วัสดุคัดเลือก, ลูกรัง, หินคลุก) ที่เหมาะสมกับปริมาณการจราจร. นอกจากนี้ ยังมีคำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับการก่อสร้างชั้นดินคันทาง, การปลูกหญ้า, และการปรับปรุงผิวทางด้วย Asphalt Concrete. เป้าหมายหลักคือการให้ อปท. มีมาตรฐานงานทางที่ชัดเจน เพื่อให้การก่อสร้างถนนมีคุณภาพและอายุการใช้งานที่ยาวนาน, รองรับปริมาณจราจรที่แตกต่างกันได้.

This road standard document (Sor Por. 2011) was prepared by the Department of Rural Roads, Ministry of Transport, as a guideline for Local Administrative Organizations (LAOs) in the construction and improvement of roads. It emphasizes stable, durable, and standardized road structures. The document covers details ranging from cross-sectional views of road structures (both cut and fill), material properties, compaction, slopes (back slope and side slope), to the selection of appropriate pavement materials (such as select materials, laterite, crushed stone) suitable for traffic volume. In addition, there are recommendations regarding the construction of embankments, planting grass, and paving with Asphalt Concrete. The main objective is to provide LAOs with clear road standards so that road construction is of high quality and has a long service life, accommodating different traffic volumes.
